I expect when I see the "first run" screen that I should find it in the history tab. Once I clicked on something (either login or start browsing) I wanted to be able to go back to the original screen to make sure I didn't miss anything. The three logos clustered at the top of the page also looked clickable to me, so I wanted to return there to find out what they did. I think it's a bit confusing to first time users to see this first run or welcome screen once and then not to know how to navigate back to it. I don't think we want to treat the first-run screen as browsing history. It's not web content. We have plans to add more "Getting Started" and "Explore Firefox" functionality in followup releases.

Agree with mfinkle. We designed the first-run to feel like it's coming from the browser not a web page. It doesn't exist in your browsing history. But we are planning to have onboarding tips or tour retrievable in a hub called "Explore Firefox". We are aware of the misconception that those icons around the logo seem interactive. We will address that in the full "Get Started" tour. That being said, for the full "Get Started", we should still support the hardware "Back" button to navigate between pages when the users are in the tour.
