Details
After file is extracted from the jar, then un-applesingled. We need to check
to see if the type is either APPL or possibly appe(?) and then register in the
desktop database.

Fixed. Now if you extract a file from the jar that is type 'APPL', it
is registered with the desktop database (if one exists).
Checked in.
Build 1999-10-20-08-M11
Looks good. I removed all copies of SimpleText, rebuilt the desktop, and then
triggered a jar that installs SimpleText. Checking resources shows it still has
APPL type, and double-clicking text documents know how to launch SimpleText.
