User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:37.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/37.0
Build ID: 20150402191859
Steps to reproduce:
I have been using the new HTML5 FORM element’s @AUTOFOCUS attribute on my website, http://www.jdclark.org/. I had been noticing a so-called “flash of unstyled content” (FOUC) issue, with no apparent explanation.
Then, I somehow managed to stumble across this article on the EllisLab website:
“Has anyone else noticed a FOUC with html5 using autofocus?”
https://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/186328/
Actual results:
I removed the @AUTOFOCUS attribute, and then reverted back to sing JavaScript to focus the form field. The FOUC issue has not occurred since.
Expected results:

ovidiu, might I as why you resolved this worksforme? And why is this blocking bug 565545? This has nothing to do with that bug as far as I can tell.

Sorry for this, Worksforme was an error while I submitted the Status update. As for the blocking bug 565545, please see comment #0 of that bug. I thought that this issue is part of that bug as well.
Thank you very much for the help and the correction.

You're welcome, but I'm still a bit confused. I see nothing in bug 565545 that talks about flashes of unstyled content. It just talks about selection behavior.
Please mail me offline of you don't know what a flash of unstyled content is and I'll explain.
