Somehow Valence add-on was disabled. There's no way to know that from WebIDE. Perhaps in the devices menu we should show that Valence is not available. Because now there's no way to disambiguate whether it's because of that or some other problem. And since there are so many things that can go wrong, it's important to do so :)
WebIDE is slated for removal (bug 1314811), so there are no plans to add to the current set of features.
