At the moment, the "Local Directory" setting in Mail Accounts is given as an
absolute path name.
One should be able to give this as a path name relative to the user's profile
folder. There would be two advantages:
a) If the profile folder is moved, the mail accounts would not be disabled (as
it happens at the moment). One would'nt need to re-set the local directories for
each account by hand.
b) At this time, I use the *same* Mozilla profile folder on Windows and Linux
(-> Windows partition mounted as a Linux folder). So I have my settings and
bookmarks available wherever I work (by the way, it's cool) - but unfortunately
not my mail accounts. Linux does'nt understand "e:\...", und Windows does'nt
understand "/myfiles/...".
So if one would be able to choose whether to use absolute or relative path
names, things like this would be a lot easier.
Thanx!
