hmmm I've been there before
that's all the difference between File|Close and File|Exit
note that this is true for all "Tasks" (editor, ...)
IMHO, there should be only File|Close (and closing the last window should take
moz down)
at least if File|Exit is there for ever, then
1. pls popup a message like
"Warning! This will close *all* browser windows and running moz tasks, are u sure ?"
2. and a check box "never see this message again"
3. a pref to reenable the warning again later...

The thing I find most interesting is it will kill ALL moz windows. Even ones that
weren't spawned by them. It shouldn't do that.... or close should be closer to
exit....but mozilla shouldn't close itself down from a little "dialog like"
thing like the bookmark manager. Its just wrong.
