When I add a site to the home screen, I expect to use it like an app. Or, at least like a pinned tab on desktop Firefox.
So, I'd like tapping on a site added to the home screen to re-use an existing tab and just pull it to the foreground.
Instead, tapping the site from the home screen opens new instances of it every time, counter to my expectations.

As a prototype, this addon seems to address my issue: https://github.com/albertopq/gaia-current-page

Just leaving a note here that we discussed this recently and I think the latest suggestion is that tapping a pinned site icon should open the last used window of that site, and tapping the browser icon should open the last used un-pinned window
