User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 Build ID: 20151210112434 Steps to reproduce: I was sorting my bookmarks. Actual results: I observe a latency of several seconds each time I move bookmarks or create a new folder. This behaviour is due to bookmark syncing. Expected results: I suggest to disable bookmark syncing until the library window is open.

We've landed some improvements in Firefox 52 that should address the issue. Please let us know if you still see jank editing bookmarks in the library.

Firefox 52 is on release channel, so you should be able to check and see if performance has improved now.
