User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0
Build ID: 20160105164030
Steps to reproduce:
Sometimes when you use the link button to create a hyperlink in the message body in the compose window and you want to put non-hyperlink text following the link on the same line, you can't: the blue link text simply continues.
I can't reproduce this consistently in the compose window, but I am enclosing WeirdLinkBehavior.eml file where you can demonstrate this effect for yourself.
The original message was created in the compose window.
Simply click on the file and press Forward or Reply.
Put the cursor at the end of the link and hit space two or more times followed by
any other characters.
The link text will continue in blue
(This is on the Mac platform.)
Actual results:
The blue link text continues. If you continue to type space characters, the underscore
character continues.
Expected results:
After typing two spaces, the blue hyperlink text should have stopped and you should have been able to continue in ordinary text on the same line.
