From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:0.9.6) Gecko/20011120
BuildID: 2001112020
precondition:
enable location bar autocomplete is ticked under prefs - navigator - smart browsing
symptom:
pressing enter to go to an URL (rather than clicking Go) doesn't work, Mozilla
ignores that keystroke
exceptions:
I dunno. go test it.
(don't know if there are other preconditions or ways to get this to work even w/
the aforementioned option turned on)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. oh feck off
2.
3.
Actual Results: beat it
Expected Results: cut the ****
you think you're important, don't you
PS.:
It's positively hilarious how you expect people to read through and comply to
oodles of instructions and then have them muddle through these above fields and
options.
If you want broad feedback (which is essential if you want to succeed) then you
can't expect people to do all of this just because it's more convenient for you.
*MOST* - *PEOPLE* - *JUST* - *COULDN'T* - *BE* - *BOTHERED* !!!
You've got at least to meet them halfway.
I'm not trying to insult you guys or anything. I just don't think you're gonna
succeed w/o a change here. It's not as if you were the only browser out there,
even w/o ever mentioning MSIE.
Make out of this whatever you want. It's your choice.
WorksForMe using FizzillaCFM/2002041712 (RC1). Tested with autocomplete enabled
and disabled. ("Ticked" is an ambiguous term.)
Jens, can you still reproduce this problem using a current build?

Jens, we get plenty of feedback (over 20,000 bug reporters so far) and most of
the people testing Mozilla provide clear bug reports. Those people who can't
take the time to provide the kinds of information that developers need to solve
problems shouldn't be in Bugzilla at all.
Your report has sufficient information for me to attempt to reproduce the
problem and I can't reproduce the problem. Thank you for taking the time. It
may be that you're seeing the same problem as reported in bug 82534 or in bug
90337 but your steps to reproduce did not produce the problem for me. If either
of those look like your bug can you please resolve this as a duplicate? Thanks.
