Options (Y) and (Z) are way more reasonable. This is inconsistency in urlbar behavior, because the rest of browser works correctly: bookmarks sidebar creates bookmark when I drop url "about:newtab", tabs toolbar loads url in current tab when I drop url "about:newtab" on that tab. Only location bar is illogical.
