The current PostUpdate procedure does not attempt to update the values we create in the StartMenuInternet registry key. This means that, when migrating users of one channel over to another channel via updates, the application name and description used in those entries does not get updated to reflect the branding of the new channel. This may be inconsequential except on Windows 7, because later versions appear to display the description in the executable's resources instead of the one in the registry entries. But Windows 7 does use the registry.
