From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020408
BuildID: 2002040814
If you have a Mozilla browser window open and then open up Composer and close it
from the Menu (File/Quit), Composer exits but also closes the browser window as
well.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Mozilla.
2. Open Composer.
3. Exit Composer using File/Exit.
Actual Results: Composer exited closing the browser window as well.
Expected Results: Composer should've exited properly without closing the browser.
For some reason, the browser window is only getting closed if you exit Composer
using it's menu. If you exit Composer by clicking on the close button on the
top-right part of the window (or whereever your WM puts it), Composer exits
properly.

FYI, Quit in any component exits mozilla entirely.

this is a dupe of bug 39057 which is marked as WONTFIX.
Use File->Close to exit only Composer.
