I'm cleaning up the old issues. I have re-verified this issue on the latest Nightly 116.0a1 (build ID: 20230703204942), latest Beta 115.0b9 (Build ID: 20230622161221) and the latest Firefox Release 114.0.2 (Build ID: 20230619081400) on Windows 10 x64, macOS 13.1 and Linux Mint 20.
- The focused item remains in the same state after is hovered.
Considering this I will mark this bug as verified fixed.
