xpviewer.exe NT 4.0, Nov 20, 1998 typing "yahoo" into the Location bar resolves and loads the site correctly, but it remains "http://yahoo" until you click on one of their links this is more aesthetic than anything, but it should be fixed

Re-assigned to gagan@netscape.com. Gagan, is this a netlib bug? Who should get this?
Assignee: gagan → rickg
Netlib updates the url in the given request. We need some work on the FE/Layouts to update the same to the location bar.

This is a UI bug which is irrelevant (in viewer at least) since viewer is only a test application and is going away soon. These kinds of bugs are great to point out, but only make sense to fix in apprunner (should then exist there).
Status: RESOLVED → REOPENED
it doesn't work on apprunner either. (tried it on build 99012912 on redhat52 and nt40)
Resolution: WONTFIX → ---
clearing resolution too
Setting all current Open/Normal to M4.

Folks, this bug is closed. IT WILL NOT BE FIXED in viewer, since it's only a test application. If you want to reissue a reminder to the apprunner team, so be it.
when will apprunner be added to the component dropdown so i can reopen this bug for apprunner? what is the procedure for apprunner specific bugs?
Status: RESOLVED → VERIFIED
terry will be adding an apprunner component this week. I am marking this as Verified. Please check apprunner for this bug later in the week when you get a new build.
