maybe depends on where in the source stream we get notifications from the server? I showed this to Rick and we saw the nsDeque capacity at over 100,000.

Hang happens every time on http://www.quicken.com. In fact, it happens on a LOCAL copy of the quicken page copied to my disk and fixed up so all image SRC attributes are fully qualified. There is one IFRAME tag that seems to be the problem. I've copied the entire local source file below in case the remote page changes. answering leger: no, this is almost certainly not a duplicate. This is really an infinite loop, with (apparently) no chance of the client ever recovering. It's seems to be a bug in either the parser or deque (a utility class used by the parser). The problem reported in 1631 is a recoverable glitch of some sort, possibly because we're not responding to something on the transmission line properly at the network protocol level (either because of a bug in netlib or the way netlib is being driven by raptor.) They look like different problems to me.
