Details
The www.tm.com (Times Mirror) web site results in a client crash upon clicking
the page's "Times Mirror overview" imagemap (located within a table), both when
drawn or not drawn.
Specifically:
1. Clicking the bitmapped sans serif text, reproducibly crashing, whether
drawn or not. (ex: Tracking ID KXK14BPK)
2. Clicking the "History" image in the image map yielded a non-reproducible
Blue Screen of Death.
3. The page rendering was completely messed up (repeated and garbled GIF
images where they weren't meant to be)
4. Just navigating the site a bit will crash the browser after a click or
two. ;)
(Used the 11.23.98 builds of Viewer & XPViewer on Win NT 4.0.)

grr...make that 11.23.98a viewers.
I've been trying this page and seeing *no* problems at all on NT. Can you try
todays build and see if the bugs are gone?
#1 and #2 are dups of bug #1568.
#3 I don't see
#4 I don't see, though if you hit the back button after going through one of the
maps then you are in bug #1568's territory.
If you agree with this analysis then please make it a dup of #1568 after you try
todays build...thanks

Looks great on the 11.24.98 (20:48) build, verified on Windows NT 4.0 and
Windows 98. (other than the image map problems, duplicate of 1568)
Thus, marking duplicate of 1568.
*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 1568 ***

P.S. Yes, Virginia, this was checked both on Viewer & XPViewer. ;)
[And there are actually other ways to crash Viewer on this site with today's
build --- I'll write 'em up separately ASAP.]
