(Reporter) Can you check my bug 172537 comment 5 (and 3) ? I feel that the current bug could be related to or even a duplicate of it. Otherwise, can you give more details on your report ?
My bug had been posted 3 months earlier than bug 172537. Anyway, it's on full agreement with comment #3 of that bug. Comment #5 in related to the "quicklaunch" area of the taskbar, not the active tasks area.
Re comment 3: See bug 172537 comment 11. Let's first wait for the answer there before calling them duplicates. If they are, your's would probably be marked duplicate, only because there has been more activity there, even if '158665 << 172537'. If they are not, your's should probably depend on the other one.
Based on bug 172537 comment 12, the current bug is closely related to, but neither duplicate nor dependent of the other one.
*** Bug 172537 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
See some icon ideas talked about in bug 172537.
Summary: Password/Image/Cookie managers don't have taskbar icons → Password/Image/Cookie/Profile, etc managers don't have taskbar or taskswitch icons
Summary: Password/Image/Cookie/Profile, etc managers don't have taskbar or taskswitch icons → Cookie/Form/Image/Password/(Pop-Up)/Profile Managers (and Preferences) don't have taskbar or taskswitch icons
Addition to comment 6: The 'Pop-Up' issue depends on bug 198250 also.
Addition to comment 6: Adding "depends on: bug 192703", based on bug 192703 comment 13 (and 12).

[Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030401] Re bug Description: Password M. has an icon (windows default): the initial bug report may have been fixed/WorksForMe in the meantime; but Pop-Up M. has none (see comment 8) [I did not check PU.M. (which UI seems to have changed) recently]. This bug is now targeted at all Managers which lake Task* custom icons.
