The install wizard shows a picture of what the Quick Launch icon will look like. It currently shows the old blue gecko instead of the new "dinosaur" graphic.
This is kinda trivial, isn't it ? ;-) Well, why not after all ? ;-))) Somebody wants to confirm this bug ?

getting enough dupes that this is no longer minor. -> normal

I wanted to report that too but with something more. I found that problem but not in the installer. It happens when I close my last Mozilla window and a reminder tells the icon will stay in taskbar for quick lauch. The wrong image is displayed within that window.

I will post an XP-themed sys tray icon version shortly. Once my Linux distro finishes d/l and i've got CVS up&running i'll browse through the code to see if i can fix this. Until then, what's preferred: a Win2k or Win XP themed sys-tray icon?

Still incorrect in 1.3 beta (Windows Build: 2003021008)
Can someone check this in to \mozilla\xpinstall\wizard\windows\setuprsc\turbo-systray.bmp ?
This time for real : An XP-themed systray icon: 96px by 33px, 8bpp bitmap. I hadn't noticed that when "patch" is selected, the content type automatically is set to text/plain

While we're at it :) This icon can be used as an update for the issue noted by comment 13 as a replacement for the turbo-systray.gif icon in \mozilla\themes\classic\communicator\icons and \mozilla\themes\modern\communicator\icons

Hello- I'm confirming this bug exists in Mozilla 1.3, installed on Win98SE. Here's the details from About. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312

This is a quick screengrab (thanks, Print Screen) of how the quick lauch icon appears in my systray. The icon's surrounded by two other tray icons, DUN and HotSync, plus the corner of a Mozilla window. I left some extra whitespace around the snippet for kicks and eas of cropping. Hope this helps.

The best way is to simply edit the image in Mozilla with a graphics editor.
There are still the images within the chrome to change.

Contains: mozilla/themes/modern/communicator/icons/turbo-systray.gif mozilla/themes/classic/communicator/icons/turbo-systray.gif mozilla/xpinstall/wizard/windows/setuprsc/turbo-systray.bmp All 3 are the same image in 1 of 2 formats. Any reason why turbo-systray.gif is in both themes and not global? Isn't that an extra 3KB we don't need?

To follow the PNG preference, here is PNG (and pngcrushed) version of the taskbar image used in the themes. It is even somewhat smaller (2.126 bytes versus 2508 bytes).
