xpviewer.exe build 98112312 "Nov_23a" on winnt 4.0 and windows 95 there should be a blue background to the vertical navigation bar on the left inch of the window. it is not there at all, no border either. this looks like a problem with tables

It's another parser bug: the head section contains a MAP tag and as soon as that is seen the parser generates its own body tag and then later ignores the correct body tag.

verified on build 99012912 on winnt and linux. (will check mac later, but i'll give it the benefit of the doubt since it was a parser error.)
