Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020529 BuildID: 2002052917 If I have no Web window open and select file/open file, get no response. I do not get a file dialog box. If I open a new browser window and use file/open file, then I do get a file dialog box to locate a file to open. This is not how this function behaves on IE and other browsers. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.make sure mozilla is running without any web browser windows open 2.go to file menu and select 'open file' 3.watch as nothing happens Actual Results: nothing. It doesn't crash, it just acts like you made no selection. Expected Results: it should open a file dialog box and attempt to open the file in a browser window.
