RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 83827

People

(Reporter: tessarakt, Assigned: bugs)

Details

Open "Manage bookmarks" Select some folder and click "New folder". A message box will pop up. It says: Create new folder Create a folder named: [New folder] [OK] [Cancel] The default value should be empty instead of "New folder". Reason: Normally you will choose a different name, but you cannot simply start typing it, because you have to delete "New folder".
This bug is related to bug 83827. They handle the same issue, just the way it will can be resolved is different.
Grmpfl ... Did not find that bug because I had "create" as a keyword in my search ... Well, that solution is probably equally good. Mark duplicate?
I think have a default value is a good idea, and this is the behavoir of most mozilla dialogs. Should be either wontfix or duplicate.
