Hey Dinesh,
I tried reproducing this issue on the latest version of Nightly 79.0a1 (2020-06-23). I had the fission.autostart command input and also tried to repro in with it set to true but without any success.
Can you test the issue while in Safe Mode. You can find helpful info here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode .
Also a fresh new profile could help. You can find more about creating a new profile here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile .
If possible, you can test this issue on the nightly build as well. Download the build from : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/nightly/all/ .

Dinesh, this sounds like the YouTube tab is crashing when it is in the background. Do you have any crash report IDs in your Firefox's about:crashes
page from around the same time you saw YouTube reloading?

Dinesh, Bugzilla says you are using Firefox 78. Are you seeing this problem in Firefox 78 or Firefox Nightly 80? Fission is only available in Nightly builds.

Sorry, I had many other issues with fission so disabled it altogether and waited it out(but forgot that I had issues filed and hence didn't check).
I'm enabling fission again and now it seems to be working fine. I will be filing bugs if anything new comes up.
Thanks.
