User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:79.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/79.0

Steps to reproduce:

Run Thunderbird. It has some new emails. It automatically expands universal Inbox and switches focus to first account in that list. It shows new email icon in systray (Windows). Then i switch back to the root folder of universal Inbox and read all emails marking them as read.

Actual results:

Systray icon should disappear after i mark last email as read (automatically after clicking it).

Expected results:

Icons doesn't disappear. This is related to another issue bug 1657044
If i don't switch back to the root folder of universal Inbox and mark emails as read, then it would disappear. But as i need to see my universal Inbox instead of just one account, i switch to it manually and then go through my emails and then often the icon wouldn't disappear, unless i switch back to a single account and back.

See if this goes away in version 78.5.1, available in a week or two

Actually, since the issue with switching from universal inbox was fixed in 78.2.2, this issue also went away for me. Have tried to reproduce this now with 78.5.0 and it is not happening.

Great! Thanks for the update
