The image in question is at http://www.zdnet.com/graphics/tile5.gif.
If you go to http://www.hotfiles.com, that background image displays correctly
under Nav 4.5 and IE 4; using seamonkey, it doesn't display at all and it
therefore makes this page somewhat difficult to read.
Summary: ss: This URL doesn't display the background GIF image → This URL doesn't display the background GIF image
This bug did not make ss: train for this release. Removing ss: from summary.
sujay, does it look any better with Nov 28 build?
I do see the disparity on this URL comparing it to 4.X versus Raptor,
but I don't understand the URL provided for tile5.gif.
The problem I see is that the left frame doesn't render the blue
background.

I believe this is the same bug as #1521 (www.hotfiles.com also has a <MAP>
inside the <HEAD> element).
quoting troy@netscape.com 11/23/98 --"Kipp explianed what's going on. You see
the <MAP> inside of the <HEAD> and you auto-generate a BODY element. The
auto-generated body element doesn't have the BACKGROUND attribute. Hence the
rendering problem"
cpratt. Check out is this is indeed a dup, and mark as so if so. Thanks!
