And the reason is that nettest doesn't setup preferences. It would be a Good Thing if we did the timebomb some other way (like in the app?) And maybe had a configuration call to tell netlib about it? Then we could teach netlib to only allow you to browse at *.netscape.com sites when the timebomb is expired?

The original bug that enabling timebomb causes nettest to crash wasn't happening for me. However in light of our redesign of netlib, disabling the browser via a timebomb is really an application feature. Knowledge of what a timebomb means should be owned by and updated by an application using netlib. I'm reassigning this to Don for discussion or assignment.
