Using 12/1 seamonkey build for Windows both viewer and xpviewer behave in the following manner: 1) jump to above URL 2) put your mouse over "Jason Lango" 3) look in the status bar of the browser. It says: "mailto://" It should say: "mailto:jal@@engr.sun.com"

The link looks well formed in the document; but it doesn't show up in the status bar. This isn't really a concern, but wouldn't mind if you took a look to make sure the content model is ok.

The handling of mailto: links is mostly disabled due to the netlib's MakeAbsoluteURL code.

Marking till Necko lands...
Per DP's suggestion marking these till M8. Though Necko lands with M7, we will be able to verify it for M8.
I'm moving this to target M9, Necko will be enabled somewhere during late M8 or early M9. We will need to get on this and it cannot be postponed past the M9 milestone.
