+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1716397 +++
As a minimal fix for Bug #1716397, which is pretty bad UX, we should at least add an Edit link
menu item to the context menu of links in composition. Links may get more attention and exposure as users are trying out our new link preview feature.
The menu item should trigger the same action like Insert link
(Ctrl+K) on a link, which works and provides all the necessary selection handling.
Editing a link with link text in composition is seriously broken for mouse users in 90.0b1 (32-Bit), Windows 10, and also half-broken for links whose text is an URL. It's now a gambling game if double-click on certain parts of the link succeeds to trigger link properties or not. Editing one-word links like here or this is now impossible with mouse. As a workaround, editing the link via
Insert > Link
(pretty counter-intuitive) orCtrl+K
works.
