User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/103.0.5060.66 Safari/537.36 Edg/103.0.1264.44

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Add an RSS feed in Thunderbird.
  2. Go to the list of news for the added RSS feed.
  3. For easier reproducing, make sure that the message pane is shown.
  4. Select a news item from the list.
  5. From the messages/news list, press TAB a few times to move through the message headers panel, until you get to the "Website" header.
  6. While the focus is on the URL link for the news, press the ENTER key.

Actual results:

Nothing happens.

Expected results:

The URL should open in user's default browser.

Listen on the element instead.
keypress is deprecated so switched to keydown instead. Also make the link semantically a link.
