User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:102.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/102.0

Steps to reproduce:

I do not know how to recreate the issue since happens randomly while reading messages. There are folders and rules in use.

Actual results:

I have an IMAP connection to a server using Dovecot. Using 102 beta and now the current production release 102.0.1 (64-bit) messages will become corrupted. The body content will display the text source format. In addition, the body is for a different message from the subject line.

Expected results:

To resolve the issue I have to delete the .msf file(s). This removes the changes made to the columns displayed, columns order, and sorting.

Thanks djk. I've seen similar reports. Some issues around .msf have been fixed. Other corruption issues are still being worked on.

David, did you by chance run a COMPACT FILES -- either intentionally, or by the new automatic default? And/or did you click PROPERTIES and run REPAIR FOLDER? If you did both, in which order?

You may be interested in looking at Bug 1778453 and Bug 1778241, both of which describe the same experience from different perspectives. Please comment there as appropriate. (Note that these bugs were originally written up as POP3-based issues instead of IMAP, but I don't think it really matters as they affect local execution only.)
