Since update to 102.4 only dark mode with any other theme but system - reverts to email dark mode

Steps to reproduce:
Tried different themes
Tried to find a light mode
Actual results:
Whenever a different theme is tried, reverts to email dark mode. I cannot read them.
Expected results:
Mode should stay light. Or there should be somewhere to switch to a light or dark mode if you want.

Does it actually show in add-ons > themes that the dark mode theme is ENABLED?

Can you post a few screenshots?
We currently do not have an email dark mode. Even if a dark theme is selected, the email content frame is unchanged. It is not touched by themes - unless you have manually installed an add-on which acts as a theme - even though it is not a static theme but an add-on altering the UI. For example DarkReader.

No,. LIGHT mode is enabled. But when I try a new theme, reverts to dark emails??
BTW, I deleted all other addons.
In other words, no Dark reader. I have seen another person mentiion this, so I am not the only one.
My windows system is also LIGHT
