Bug 1639050 is enabling blocklist v3 on Android, initially on Nightly only.
Firefox for Android (Fenix) currently has limited support for extensions. On Nightly, a user can install more extensions using the instructions from https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2020/09/29/expanded-extension-support-in-firefox-for-android-nightly/ . On Beta, this feature has also been enabled in https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/26948 . On release, users cannot install add-ons outside of the default collection, so we can postpone the enabling of blocklist v3 until all dependencies have been resolved.
Let's resolve the blockers of this bug and then let the feature ride to release.

Adding dependency on bug 1822763, because without support in the UI to handle blocklisting, it would be confusing when add-ons are blocklisted.

FWIW, I filed a bug to go the extra mile (which I had not in mind when I answered your question earlier). There is a tiny update to make in firefox-android.
