upon hiding or showing of the navigation, location, or personal toolbar, the statusbar dissappears, apparently being hidden. resizing, minimizing, or maximizing the windows causes the statusbar to reappear. the carat, it appears is currently approximately 3 positions beyond the edge of the right scrollbar. p.s. effective so far =)

Change resolution to REMIND. I don't think this is a problem with the new code base since it doesn't have a status bar anymore.
