ftp hangs on HPUX 11.00. File xfer starts, some data is downloaded, but the client will freeze up. Also, the status dialog does not report progress correctly.

dialog should be reporting status. the hang is probably attributable to the streaming problem we're having (18725).

Trying to reproduce this now.

I downloaded stuff using today's 11.00 build. So not sure of the 'problem'. However, 10.20 didn't work. If you feel that 11.00 is working fine, modify the summary to say 10.20, but keep this open. NOTE: if find a URL that doesn't work stick it in the URL field of the bug

This seems to work fine on HP 11.00 now. I've downloaded a few large files with no problems. The status window doesn't close automatically when the download is finished but that's pretty minor. Jim says it still doesn't work on HP 10.20 along with alot of other things.

note that FTP can be logged by setting the following env variable NSPR_LOG_FILES=nsFTPProtocol:5
