If I start NGLayout while Opera 3.50 (http://www.operasoftware.com/, win32 version) is running, the whole system soon goes down in a massive crash, requiring a reboot. NGLayout never completely starts, but I do have a small chance to end other programs before the whole system is unusable. (The most recent time it didn't go down completely until I closed Opera, I think.) My NGLAYOUT_HOME is http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~dbaron/ and my NG_REQUEST_VER is 5.0 .

Could this be a graphics bug?

I think this has been fixed somewhere along the line. I just tried to replicate it using the 98-12-12 and 98-12-07 builds, and they wouldn't start either before or while Opera was running, but I didn't get the crash again. However, the current (99-01-13) build started fine. This is probably now fixed.

beppe - your the Win95 person. Can you Verify or pass on to one of your folks to verify please?
