Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.79 [en] (Win98; U) Build Identifier: current nightly release An install of the current update seemed to go smoothly but after the reboot it gives this error message and exits. There doesn't seem to be a way to convince it that the previous installation is done. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't help. This also happened to me last week and uninstalling it and clearing remaining registry stuff let me install the 1.3b version. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
It doesn´t make sense to install a 1.3b (release version) under win98, look at bug 192294. This bug has been fixed with Build ID 2003021304. That bug was also in the nightlies before release, and could have prevented you to install over the internet. What file did you install? mozilla-win32-1.3b-installer.exe mozilla-win32-1.3b-stub-installer.exe mozilla-win32-1.3b-talkback.zip What browser did you use for download?
