User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2) Gecko/20021202 Build Identifier: 1.3 I have been using 1.2.1 and rendering MathML very nicely on my Redhat 8.0. After downloading and installing the rpms (I tried both the xft and gtk2) I went back the the mathml start page and found it completely messed up. Specifically, the operators appear on the line above. For example, the equation "2+2" would have the + appear above the 2s. There were also some characters wrong. The square-root signs did not work, etc. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install 1.3 on a redhat 8.0 system from the provided rpms 2.load http://www.mozilla.org/projects/mathml/start.xml Actual Results: A mess, see summary. Expected Results: The same thing as we had with 1.2.1
Works fine with a non-XFT build, so sounds like an XFT problem.
