List item markers, according to
http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS2/generate.html#markers ,
should be offset by a constant amount from the *border edge* of the list item.
This relates, technically, to markers and not to items with display: list-item,
but it is probably nevertheless the best solution, if you think about LIs with
borders (the way it is now, the markers can easily sit on top of the borders.)

IE5 (final, not beta 2) now does it this way. It's good for forward-
compatibility too.

Marking [notestcaseneeded]. The above attachment isn't really simple and
doesn't work anyway, because the linked stylesheet doesn't exist.
List markers are now outside the border. For list items w/o borders, there is no
obvious difference after this fix is applied, so its compatible...
