When I go to the above story at news.com (which, if I mistyped the link, is the IE 5.5 story) using build 1999120113, the story list on the right does not change cursor when moused over, and does not take you to that story when clicked. It behaves as though there were simply blue underlined text on the page. The links within the story work just fine.

What I am seeing on Linux is this: The page contains a story and then a right hand column of links to other stories. All the links that adjacent to the story are dead and don't appear to be getting the events. If the story is shorter in length then the right hand column. The links that extend below the story are active and get events. This works fine on NT.

URL gives a 404. You can see the same bug at http://news.cnet.com. The right hand links do not work.

I have a better test case. I think this is a layout issue, not an event issue.
