sujay, is this still a problem on linux?
Slamm, is this still happening for you? I just tried it and I see arrow now instead of I beam, bu there were so many nested frames and windows, I wasn't sure which exact area you were referring to..
This does still happen. Mouse-over the horizontal scroll bar for the frame labeled, "frame1". Example 9: Frames Put test5.html in frame1, [....] Put test9b.html in frame1, [....] frame1 frame2 +------+ +-------+ | | | | | | | | +<====>+ +-------+ <-- mouse-over the horizontal scrollbar of "frame1".

the cursor isn't being updatedas often as it should be. i will have to look in to this in more details. may be related to apprunner performance sucking.

Hello! I don´t know if my comment gives any additional help. I use Build 2001012720 - talkback-version on Win98. Go to URL http://www.mozilla.org/quality/help/bugzilla-helper.html I chose one of the textarea windows like "Description" or "Steps to reproduce" (about in the middle of the page) and entered enough letters or lines so that one or both scroll-bars appeared, there´s always shown the I-bar instead of an arrow. (The same happens with this "Additional Comments"-window at the moment). Bye, Daniel
This bug just irritated me in build 2001042608, in the scrollbars for a textarea.
The frame scrollbars work for me on Linux 2001053008. The textarea scrollbars are part of bug 16928. I suggest closing this one.
I am also no longer able to reproduce this, under Linux 0.9.7. Unless somebody's still seeing this problem, this bug should probably be closed.
