User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4; MultiZilla v1.5.0.0i) Gecko/20030624 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4; MultiZilla v1.5.0.0i) Gecko/20030624 When I run mozilla and specify a link, such as from my IRC client or anywhere else I might find a URL outside the browser, it opens a new session. There should be some way, perhaps a command line parameter or an option, to make the page open in a new (or existing) tab in an existing session. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Dupe of bug 75138. See also Bug 111539 for the command line switch. On Unix-like Operating Systems this is already implemented (see http://www.mozilla.org/unix/remote.html). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 75138 ***

Interesting bug, but not related to this one I think. That one covers preferences and bugs in handling links from the browser to the browser, here I am talking about what mozilla does with links from outside the browser (start, run, "mozilla.exe http://www.google.com") *edit, mid-air collision, guess they found the dupes even though i couldnt*
