3/4/99 build Win98 Animated Gifs inside table are not loading on Win98. They look fine on NT. The image of the smoking lamp works, but the running black cat within the table will not load.

is this actually related to the image being in a table? if so, then it's a table bug because the rendering code has no idea what a table is. if the images simply fails to load then it's a netlib or imglib bug.

Must be a table bug because the other images on the page load fine, and the table images load fine on other platforms. I'm changing the component to HTMLTables, and reassigning to karnaze.

I'm accepting the bug, but it would be nice to know if it is an optimized or debug Win98 build.

Chris, if one of the internal QA folks submit a bug, you can always presume it is an optimized build, the exception would be to use a debug build.

It works on 4/12 optimized WinNT. Please verify on Win98.
