However, users should be given the option (via a menu item) to render pages that show up as source (i.e. an item under View such as "View page as HTML".) This would go a long way towards making Moz more user friendly, while still complying with the HTTP standard. Currently users are forced to open another browser if they wish view pages from incorrectly configured web server, which is detrimental to the goals of the Mozilla project. Please do not summarily close this bug as WONTFIX without even giving users the chance to vote for it, as is the case with most bugs making similar requests. That is extremely short sighted, and does a great disservice to the Moz community. Even if someone has already decided that Moz will never ever render pages (we'll call him "The Man") served as text/plain, users should still get to vote on this functionality. Given that there are always about three threads about this across all newsgroups/forums at any given time, let's give the users someplace to go and vote for this instead of perpetuating endless threads on the subject.
