Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040320 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040320 I just got a mail telling me there was a undeliverable message held, and I should visit an URL from my ISP. However the link's target was an attached executable. No, I'm not infected, linux cannot really execute windows worms. However, I had to look at the source (or copy the link location and paste it to some terminal) to figure this out. Mozilla Mail should display attachments regardless of whether they are linked from within the mail body or not. Maybe a link to an attachment should also be highlighted. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
A very risky situation. As was discussed on May 31 on #mozillazine channel. This disguise can fool even people who are aware of how to deal with viruses. Note that this issue is related to bug: 162508
