I removed my current .mozilla directory 2. I edited <NSHomeDir>/defaults/pref/mailnews.js and changed mail.server_type from 0 (pop3) to 1 (imap). 3.I rebuilted Mozilla so that it will take my new preferences. But, when I start configuring the mail it still gives me POP3 as the default.
