The image at the beginning of this page is not appearing. It is a GIF and the server returns the correct mime type. The image itself is: http://www.w3.org/People/howcome/i/ego/9706
It's working now (99-01-19), except now the image is being written over by the text.
Now it's gone back to not appearing at all (99-01-27).
Same bug, same situation, another page: http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~dbaron/about.html
Setting all current Open/Normal to M4.
I think H&kon changed his page. The image on my page doesn't appear, still. Now H&kon's page has the following problems: 1) The image is fine on initial load, on switch from other window, or on PgUp/PgDn 2) The image gets stripes (parts not displayed) if I scroll by dragging the scrollbar. 3) If I scroll using the up/down arrows, the image disappears completely the second its top gets above the top of the screen.
Summary: Image not appearing → image display problems
Actually, the problem on my page was correct behavior, since I floated the P without giving it a width. Changing title to image display problems.
