Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open http://paginas.fe.up.pt/~tga/issue_20040625/ 2. Press Tab once, to focus the select element 3. Press de Up and Down arrow keys, to move through the options in the select (while keeping the select closed, i.e. not dropped-down) 4. Press Alt + Down arrow, to drop down the select Actual Results: While the select is closed, the background color of the options is always white. Expected Results: The background color should be coloured, as when the select is dropped down. I think this is a duplicate of bug 79107. Reporter, you may close this bug and make it a duplicate of bug 79107 yourself if you agree.

Thank you both. My report is indeed a duplicate of bug #79107, so I closed it as such. It is not a duplicate of resolved bug #224974, as the problem is with single-line <select>s, not multi-line ones. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 79107 ***
