In MS-World, I guess that's the Protocol-From-Hell DDE method. At present, Firefox always appears to pick one of its windows - probably the most recently used - and to overwrite the active tab with the new content. THIS RFE REQUESTS, a preference setting to allow alternative opening (2) in a new tab or (3) in a new window. [ (1) being what it does now ]. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
