User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040910 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040910 Referenced page has a ticker which scrolls through multiple messages. If you scroll that window so the ticker is off the screen, the next time the ticker updates, it updates somewhere in the text you just scrolled to (on top of whatever text/image is already there) It looks like it's being drawn in an overlay plane and we're not correctly noting that that portion of the page has been scrolled up out of the visible window and shouldn't be redrawn. Just as bad, if you create a new tab in that window, that ticker continues to update in your new tab. Even if the tab is empty. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to the web page referenced 2. Scroll half way through the page. Wait for the ticker to update and note even though the ticker is scrolled of the screen, it's now drawing somewhere else in your window. AND 1. Go to the web page referenced. 2. create a new blank tab 3. Note the ticker continuing to update in your new blank tab Actual Results: Ticker keeps showing up in places it shouldn't. Expected Results: Ticker should only update in the region it's supposed to, not in blank tabs and not further down in the window after you have scrolled off. Seems Mac specific. System is a PowerBook G4/800MHz using MacOS 10.3.5
