I came across this too here is some more precise info: I found discrepancies in the platforms. Here's a little chart: WinNT Win95 RH52 MacOS8.5 visible yes no no yes functional yes no no no hope that formats right and makes sense!

Opps, didn't see the Win95 and Mac problems in the report. I didn't test these, only Linux. Is the bug still present there?
